Hi! My name is Debbie Jones, and I’m from Shrewsbury (UK), a beautiful medieval market town in Shropshire – rich with agricultural heritage and a long history of creativity. I’ve lived here pretty much all of my life, and now live with my husband Chris and daughter Cydney.
I’m an accounts clerk by day, a mum and wife by night, and I’ve always had a bit of a creative passion, and just before the birth of our daughter, I took up making cakes for friends and family as a unique gift idea for birthdays, retirements, and such like.
Starting with cupcakes, things grew quickly! I became so popular that I could pretty much predict folks asking for cakes based on upcoming birthdays and celebrations!
My daughter’s birth didn’t stop me, and with the often much needed artistic hand of my husband to help, we have made some wonderful creations that have delighted those around us for nearly ten years now.
Not that I’m bored of cake making at all, but I sought a new adventure in 2020 – and that is candle making… I really love scented candles, we’ve almost always got one burning in the house. So this year, I decided to treat our friends and family to a hand-made Christmas gift, and I hope that is only the beginning.
